Real estate felt like a natural lifestyle choice for me, with the real estate upbringing and inspiration of my mother Maria Corley. My mother Maria got her license in 1991 when I was only 9 years old, and I watched her quickly grow as a trusted and respected REALTOR® in the industry. She made it look so fun and effortless to constantly work with new clients, energetically deal with buyers and seller negotiating contracts, self-marketing, listening to real estate tapes (yes I said tapes); all the while maintaining the most positive attitude of any person I have ever met! I always was truly inspired by my mother, even to this day!

Fresh out of high school I decided to pursue a career in real estate, though I feel as though I had been in real estate as far back as I can remember. I took my real estate course in the summer of 1999 and my wonderful mother took me under her wing to show me the ropes of the business. She ingrained in me every principle, practice and high level of ethics that today is the foundation of my business! I really do owe my successful career to my mom, and I am most thankful for everything that she has raised me to be. Maria and I have been partners in real estate for longer than most people remain in one career and to this day we have not had one disagreement personally or professionally.

I started my real estate career at Re/Max Mountain View, until 2002 when my mother and step-dad Ken Lamb decided to start their own brokerage, Real Estate Professionals Inc. Ken is an amazing step dad and broker, and has also been a great source of inspiration, kindness and wealth of knowledge in my life. He has provided me with limitless encouragement to strive to be the best REALTOR® I can possibly be. Real Estate Professionals Inc. quickly grew to be over 200 Realtors (and counting), and I can proudly say that I have been in the top 10 Realtors within the company every year since our inception.

As a youthful and forward thinking real estate professional, I am committed to expanding my knowledge in the ever-changing real estate industry. I want to be able to offer my clients the best information and service possible. I am constantly reinventing my marketing, internet, and professional image to keep up with the times, but I can admit there is so much more to learn! I strive to be active in the social media scene and I am constantly learning from those around me. Keeping my education up to date is also important to me and I have taken many real estate related courses including my Accredited Seller's Representation, Accredited Buyer's Representation, Certified Condominium Specialist certifications, both commercial and rural designations, and many others.

I am an energetic, reliable, trustworthy, creative, self-driven person with a yearning to make those around me happy. I appreciate working with an array of people and I adapt to make each real estate transaction as pleasant as possible. I love working with both buyers and sellers from all walks of life, though I do hold a special place in my heart for first time buyers since I myself started my first real estate experience at such a young age. I love to share my knowledge and expertise, and ensure all my clients benefit from my 15+ years of experience. I still get excited every time I get an email or a call from a past client, a referral or new prospective client hiring my services. I take the friendly approach very seriously and I will always welcome every call, text, email and client meeting with a smile. I love negotiating contracts and sharing in the high of buying or selling a home! Though some of my business comes from marketing, over 80% of my clients have been referral or repeat business, the best kind of business of all! In my career, I have sold around 500 homes and each transaction has had its own unique set of circumstances, giving me a lot of experience to draw from with each new deal.

My husband, Matt and I believe in community and giving back. That is why every year we give a portion of my commissions and his earnings to United Way Calgary, a charity helping Calgarians with vital programs and services.

I have many personal passions that I carry through my life. I am a mountain-lover; the Rockies are my playground where I spend my free-time snowboarding, cross-country skiing, camping, hiking, and mountain biking. I have travelled the world backpacking through more than 30 countries, including much of North America, Central America, the Pacific, South America, SE Asia, Europe and Africa. I am an avid hobby photographer, and I recently obtained my certificate in photography from SAIT. I love great food, great restaurants, great conversation with friends, live music and events, the arts, entertaining, exploring new cities and architecture, home décor, renovations and staging, personal fitness and health, and so much more!

Lastly but most importantly, the most significant and profound part of my life is my family! I am married to the most wonderful, supportive man I have ever met, Mathieu Rae. He and I share our life passions together and we also have two beautiful children: Lukas who was born in 2011 and little Zoëlie who was born in 2013. Lukas is a thoughtful, observant and calculated boy who is eager to learn and loves to negotiate, while brave Zoe energetically throws caution to the wind while trying to keep up with her big brother. Running after my kids comes with challenges at times, but I love watching them grow into little people with big futures. We recently hired a live-in nanny to help us with our demanding schedules. Being a mother and wife has been the greatest gift I could ever have asked for and I am so grateful! I love my family!!!
